Join us for a guided tour of Lund University Pre-Pilot Plant at Kemicentrum.
The Lund University Pre Pilot Plant (LUPPP) is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing food, biotechnology and chemical engineering research and development. It houses cutting-edge equipment for key unit operations, making it a crucial component in the shift from animal-based proteins to new protein sources as well as for biofuels and biomaterials research.
The facility spans around 2000 m² and includes halls for advanced chemical processing, food production, and pre-pilot fermentation. It is equipped with industrial-like infrastructure such as steam, cooling media, pressurized air, nitrogen, vacuum, and ample electricity connections.
We will start the day with a presentation and Q&A.
